Saving changes in xib, self-hosted

I've played around with an xib in xcode, now I would like to save the changes to use in future apps that will use that plugin. To do this, do I have to create a plugin or is there an easier way? I watched David's video, but don't know if I have the skills to pull it off.

What I usually do is just use a JSON Snippet Keeper to keep the settings from a custom plugin. Then just change the JSON manually when needed.

Thanks Stobe, that sounds like a plan.
