Taking forever to upload app on iTunes Connect

I have completed my new app and been trying to upload it to the appstore for submission. It is taking forever to upload my new ios app to the app store using the inbuilt organiser in xcode. The app is just 3.3 mb in size yet the screen is stucked on "Your application is being uploaded"... I do not see any progress on the progress bar. Been trying to upload this app since yesterday yet i have no luck here. Is there any problem with the itunes connect server or its just happening to me? Also would like to know is there any alternate way to upload the app to the itunes connect?

Did you "Validate" your project before you attempted to upload it? Jake

What version of Xcode are you using? Are you using Mavericks (10.9)? Jake

This means that Xcode has not made a connection with the iTunes Connect Server. Have you tried to restart your modem, router, and computer? Jake

Hey Sandeep, I'm having the same problem. The bar gets stuck for awhile then says the connection was lost. I tried uploading my app multiple times with no luck. Maybe it IS Apple? I would try again in a little bit! Wish I could be more help, but at least (it looks like?) its not just you! Samantha

Hi Samantha, Nice to see you on BT. Greetings from India. I was a bit worried that this happened only with me but now i know that its from apples side. BTW my app got uploaded just few minutes before and now its in line for review. The app got uploaded from xcode using the organiser. The apples server might be down and thats causing this problem.

It once took me like 45 mins to upload one. Didn´t see any activity for a looooong while. Nevertheless, it was working but in sloooow motion.

It might also just have been a bad day for your internet provider, or competing demands on your mac in the background such as syncing
