My first app.

I am happy to announce my first app is on google play. I would like to say a huge thank you to LA and all the others at BT who helped me along the way with this. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.calvarybaptistandrews I did notice today that a guy downloaded it on his Galaxy S4 and the menus were cut in half. Can anyone advise on this because on all the other devices I tested with it worked good.

Thanks Dave. That's the funny thing too, because I published this app for my church and their first question was when was it coming out for iOS.

Looks very nice! If you don't have all the devices to test on (and well, who does?) you might want to get a few screen sizes from the more popular models, and create Virtual Devices for them, and test on those too. The biggest issue I have with Android is like you, getting the layout size correct on a variety of devices. At the moment, the only advice I have is the above, and 'trial and error'. In hopes someone has a better solution... Cheers! -- Smug

Wow Andrews! Congratulations on your first app. I know from the beginning that you have worked extremely hard to create your first app. And now it is finally live in the Google Play Store. I am very proud of you. When I reach home later, I will go and download your app, and I will test it for you. Currently, I am on my way building my site to show cast and promote android applications. When it is ready, I will review your app on my site and hopefully I will be able to help you get more downloads. Keep it up. I like apps related to religions. Well done. And once again, congratulations Andrews! Regards, Tommy Koo

Hi Andrews Bravo for the first app! However, I notice that the images in the description are doubled, perhaps you could generate more images to showcase the app better!? Also, is "begger" the correct word!? English is not my mother's tongue, but I think is should be "beggar", however, I may be wrong. You should list some kind of an Internet page, perhaps a site of your church; many people put Facebook pages instead, which is acceptable. However, your own site is always better - you have more control of it, you can ask for emails to stay in contact with your visitors and so on. Still, a first app is a major effort, so congrats once again!
