My Self-Hosted logs me out after 20 minutes

Hi guys, I have a little issue with my self-hosted, which is that it keep logging me out. Although I have saved my passwords in the browser, which saves me having to write everything out each time, the control panel keeps logging me out, and it's getting rather annoying. My normal Buzztouch.com account does not log me unless I tell it to. It's not a buggy, but all the same, I would like to get this issue fixed. If you want, I can give you an account on my Self-Hosted Panel so you can see that it frequently logs out. Thomas Boyd Annandale Apps

There's no rush. I think it's a line of code in a file somewhere. I thought about looking around (and wasting hours), but turned to the forums to see if anyone else had this issue and see what the fix was.

On my server I counted it as a bug. I fixed it by extending the cookie expiration, but it still happens sometimes...

@Cake I was just thinking of that as a short term fix. Looks like cookies are set to expire frequently. David https://buzztouchmods.com/market

Oh, Also disable the session on the -session cookie and see if that helps.

Another tip I must share, is you should always turn off the caching when modifying your theme. A few days ago, I was re-theming my control panel when I noticed things weren't changing. The only thing that was changing was the font. Then I opened it up in Chrome (I don't usually use Chrome) and it looked the way I wanted it to. Then Chrome started to cache the files, and I got really confused. Anyway, the up shot is that after about 15 minutes of confusion, I realised it was either caching or cookies. Since cookies are for passwords and stuff, it had to be the cache files. When I 'Disabled caching' on Safari, sure enough, everything worked perfectly. It took me hours to get the look I wanted. But I am so pleased, and it looks just GREAT! It was quite a lot of work to put in, especially considering I have no apps on the app store that are hosted via my Self-Hosted control panel.

It's a security issue. Should be easy enough to change the time out.
