Guide to load screens

Is there a guide to load screens? I guess you can set how long they are on screen I presume the files in BT_art what you can use for templates for the various different phones/tablets. Am I right in thinking if you make your load screens and save them with the same file names they will then work as the load screens portrait and landscape views? Just need a bit of help as I think I have confused splash screens with load screens

Hi Chris, Yes I think there might some confusion. A Splash screen (made from the Splash screen plugin) displays on launch right before your home screen. You can decid how long this screen displays for, how long the transition will take and what kind of transition you want. Just before the splash screen (should you choose to use one) is the launch screen which shows briefly while the app is loading. This is purely Xcode stuff and by default it is just a black graphic but you can change that if you want. You can't change how long it is going to display for, when the app is loaded it just disappears. Does that help? Not too sure what you mean by load screen. Cheers, Farcat

Check the Core or Theme menu item, I think there is a Splash screen setting in there. Or my memory is failing ... :-) -- Niraj

The other question is - is there a good size that suits all for splash screens or do you have to have multiple screens set up?
