Configuring Android SDK for Development Tools and Google API - Google TV Addon?

I followed GoNorthWest's pdf "how to" guides on setting up Android SDK when I ran into a road block - (I'm running Windows 7) Starting Eclipse I get the Java SDK menu; going to Window, I start up the Android SDK Manager In the current version of Android SDK Manager shows: Android SDK tools (22.2.1), platform-tools(18.0.1), build-tools (18.1) installed Android 4.3 (API 18) shows SDK Platform (Rev 2) installed ARM EABI V7a System image (Rev 2) installed Google APIs (18 Rev 3) shows not installed; it is checked to be installed then a menu of Android versions from 4.2.2 (API 17) on downwards is listed for checkoffs to be installed However, after accepting license, in attempting to install any combination of these Android versions I get what appears to be an error message: "Package Google TV Addon, Android API 13, revision 1 depends on SDK Platform Android 3.2, API 13, revision 1" and the install button won't highlight so I can install. I can't install. The asteriked fn states "something depends on this package" I'm at a total loss on how to address this. Does someone have a solution (somebody else must have encountered this already)? If you don't know the solution, can you point me in some direction? Thanks!

Hello! I replied to your PM last night with some thoughts...let me know if you got that. We can do a TeamViewer session if you'd like to work through some of the issues. Mark

Here's what I said: "Howdy, Do you have "Google TV Addon" selected near the bottom of the whole list? There's a whole set of Google stuff at the bottom, and if it's selected, go ahead and deselect it. But make sure you install the Google Play Services...that's a new requirement. If you're still having problems, let me know and maybe we can do a TeamViewer session and I can check things out for you. Mark"

I discovered the solution: In extras at the bottom as you directed I selected Google Play Services but scrolling all the way down there is no reference to Google TV Addon at all; however when I press the install button I get a new screen that references Google TV Addon for the first time, at the top "Google TV Addon, Android API 13, Android SDK license. When this is checked: two buttons are highlighted to the left at the bottom under "license/terms and conditions and provide two choices: accept (this appears: "Package Google TV Addon, Android API 13, revision 1 depends on SDK Platform Android 3.2, API 13, revision 1") or reject Making this selection leaves the task unfinished; you have to accept/reject EACH following package license before the install button highlights for initiation! Thanks for the Google Play Service advice; I would have never figured that out. On to the next puzzlement :)

Rock on! Way to get it worked out. If you're downloading the new Android v3 package from Buzztouch, make sure you follow the readme file in the root folder of your download. There are new steps that deviate from my video. But I have an updated video coming out soon! Mark
