xcode image issue on splash plugin

Hello, I use the splash plugin on all my apps. Prior to updating to xcode 5 I would use png image sizes 320x480 for small devices and 640x960 for large with no issues. No that all the simulators are 'retina' in xcode 5 I am using 640x1136 but the images are now 'zoomed in' on the simulators in Xcode instead displaying the full screen and preserving the ratio. Any thoughts on how to correct this? If I use 320x480, it shows correctly, however I know if I use this size it will look like crap on a retina phone.

Well, new devices, old instructions. A 320 x 480 'image.png' will still be known as 'image.png', and the higher resolution image will still be known as '[email protected]'. So you'll still 'call for' image.png, but the higher resolution device will pickup and utilize '[email protected]' when it's time to display. Make sure the images you want to be used in the retina devices are named '[email protected]', but the code is looking for 'something.png' Cheers! -- Smug
