Bravo for releasing the app. Free version, Play the game once and it crashes constantly every game after. If I leave the app my progress is lost. It's frustrating. this is iOS 7 iphone 5

Could I advise that in the next update, you rotate the images so they are landscape. I keep looking sideways!

Did you use any BT plugins? I was hoping someone would come out with some game plugins, but haven't seen any available.

Games are very time consuming pieces of code to write. I have done a few little games for people and modded code from the likes of code canyon for some as well. If I am going to spend 100's hours writing this code I would expect to be paid quite handsomely. Games are also quite unique, they require different sprites different images, the game play also has to differ from others. There are hundreds of angry bird clones out there but angry birds prevails as it's done properly not by some 2 bob coder who has followed a tutorial and a used a starter kit from ray wenderlichs site. It is extremely complicated an original idea for a game is bloody difficult and can only applaud indie developers coming up with them. Any of us on here who created a game as a plugin would just be a clone of another game which would then be cloned again by you guys. We see people post games on here quite a lot lately and they all the same stuff I have done on tutorial sites, at the end of the tutorials it says what could you do to make this game better, add score boards, more levels, social sharing but guess what none of them do it, it just becomes shovel ware, we say hey congrats but will the game of longevity no. Sprite kit for ios 7 is incredibly cool there are a few tutorials out try one, make space invaders, they type of game in this forum. To make it buzztouch compatible just make the initial view controller in the tutorial the BT_blank_plugin

Thanks Kittsy, yeah, I know it's the unique games that last, but I figured with all the angry birds & doodle jump clones out there for sale, someone would have ported one over to a BT plugin. There is a BT slot machine plugin, but it wasn't what I expected it to be (fairly heavy editing required in Xcode, and the plugin doesn't have any options related to the slot in the BT control panel like I expected it to have... not even image selections). Thomas, what type of game plugin are you going to release?

I'll give you another reason why I personally won't be releasing a game openly on the market, no matter what you make some one always wants it to do something different, and they will complain and moan until you crumble lol. Plus be warned if people do make games on plugin copied from other peoples code, if the code needs changing there's a good chance they won't know how to fix it. And you can't really port someone else's tutorial kit over there are copyrights and licences plus why should I buy the thing for $500 dollars when half the people on buzztouch balk at paying over $10 for a plugin which due to the banking crumble in america is less than an hour's minimum wage in the UK.

The slot machine plugin is a good example. I'm guessing you are talking about buzztouch mods one. MrDavid has provided an extremely cheap and fun slot machine that does absolutely nothing other than spin and look pretty. And for $5 it doesn't need to do much. But in your head five dollars should get you a functioning slot machine simulator, that includes the ability to change images through an url. Now if I was creating it I wouldn't use an URL for images due to the fact that the internet is unreliable and the chances of me changing that image between physical uploads to the appstore would be slim. So I would have done the same as MrDavid there. A slot machine game again has a lot of different variations of uses, a fun way and easy mod would be to have it only open a screen if it shows 4 bells for example. another way would be to put logic in so that it plays like a game and you get points. then the rules of the game further expand, do you get unlimited goes to you and get 100 dollars to play with, if you win does that increase the amount of dollars to play with or does it give you points for a leader board. these things spiral out of control but what has been provided intially is a nice UI for game. Every person who see's a plugin can look at it differently

Lol, no, not what I meant. I meant the filenames should be defined in the BT control panel if it's a BT plugin. Not using online URL's or anything. It also requires ARC to be changed in Xcode, and just wasn't as "plug and play" as I expected it to be. I thought like all other BT plugins, you define your variables and download the code, like all others. I'm not knocking the plugin at all, I honestly haven't had time to play with it much, but right out of the box things didn't work right, which MrDavid promptly emailed me some code changes to make in Xcode to get it functioning... I just haven't had a chance to see if it works yet. When downloading, I thought it would be like going into the plugin control panel, define your image names, download the code, drag the images folder into xcode and run... like all other plugins. But back to the original topic of the game plugins, no, I wouldn't EXPECT all sorts of functionality in a game plugin. I'd expect the basic game play and an easy way of adding the variables. As far as game center integration with scores, and other features, I'd expect to have to use another plugin to tie it in, or add an SDK through Xcode. Thomas, don't get discouraged, I'd be the first to buy your blackjack plugin (or any card game plugin for that matter).

Hi guys, Thanks Kittsy for the explanation, you're spot on. "It also requires ARC to be changed in Xcode, and just wasn't as "plug and play" as I expected it to be." ~ Angry Ninja Actually, you should expect the exact opposite! The whole reason the BTM Marketplace exists is for the plugins that are not "usual" the ones you find on buzztouch.com. Some plugins are very advanced and require more instructions rather then the "plug and play" you get on the buzztouch.com market - you should EXPECT for plugins to be and work differently (althrough this shouldnt be bad, just expected, be ready to impliment some code to get things working like Kittsy's Favorite plugin, Chris's Login plugin or my Message Bar plugin) when they come from the BTM Marketplace. You can get more detailed explanation on reasons here: https://buzztouchmods.com/market_faq.php As kittsy said, the slot machine plugin can be used in many ways and is very simple (I like the idea that if it hits a certain pattern to launch a screen, should be easy to do!), that's why it's only 5 bucks. For my advanced plugins, that DO use the control panel or DO include heavy documentation and implementation, it's 20+ bucks. In a sense, you get what you pay for! Hope this makes some sense! Let me know if my code changes helped you. @varung Sorry for hijacking thread! Great app, keep updating it and keep making it better and better. You will be surprised how much it helps when users see constant updates and improvements from developer effort. David https://buzztouchmods.com/market

Spot on thread - and you didn't even mention LAYOUT with is a nightmare. I've got a few basic games I've ported to work in BT - Hangman, a Matching Game and playing around with some cocos2d templates. They work great inside a BT app - but to integrate it into your app with a "custom" look - there is a bunch of code you would have to modify by hand. You can't just drop JSON data points in any viewcontroller to manage every setting thru the BT Control Panel. The games with good functionality use a lot of custom classes that don't use JSON like BT does. "To make it buzztouch compatible just make the initial view controller in the tutorial the BT_blank_plugin" Bingo. That is the logic that you should apply to every custom control you see out there for iOS (or Android) you want to integrate into BT.
