I think I know why I can't seem to know...

I am so confused.... Here's my problem, I keep looking at instructions that are from everywhere(meaning years, versions). The new/old versions of: Eclipse BuzzTouch Android Google Maps API ...are all killing me. Maybe if I ask this way, I can get the correct instructions: I have: Android 2.3.6 Device/Phone Eclipse Version 3.8.2 Android ADT 22.2.1 Google Maps API v.2 Release Key I downloaded th BuzzTouch Android Zip Package of my app above the 3.0 BuzzTouch Version. Is that 2.0? So I am ultimately confused when a person says don't use the Debug Key, use the Release Key and when I follow step by step on instructions from 2011 and Galileo Eclipse when I have the new one. Please can someone help out with this? I really am trying to learn, but all the different codes for each version and instructions are clashing together and I am so confused. I don't want to give up, I just need a little assistance in how to decipher what I am supposed to read, watch and look for so I can finish this app and become a member. I would love to get to a point where I could segment all the versions so people could pick which ones they have, but development and upgrading goes so fast, it's impossible to do it myself. :)

Ok, so Buzztouch V3.0 for Android runs on Android 3.0 and above devices, which unfortunately may not run on your phone. I would recommend testing in the simulator on Android 4.3. Buzztouch 3.0 is the new Buzztouch core which is faster and has a new interface and uses fragments. Buzztouch 2.0 is the old Buzztouch core which uses activities. Have you gotten your app to run in the Android Emulator? Jake

Nope, On both my phone and the emulator, even after I seemed to have fixed everything, the app won't install. The emulator says missing shared library. I tried to verify that Google maps was selected on both the package and android emulator device. I really don't know what to do at this point. It keeps saying that same thing.

I made a mistake in adding the API Key to the code in the manifest files where it says to use the google maps at the bottom. Sorry for the panic and thank you so much for trying to help me. The darned thing works now on the Emulator. Once I change my url on the custom html, I will be able to have a fully functional APP! Its works now but the url is wrong.
