manifestmerger.enabledtrue please tell me where this goes

from scringo 4. Important: add this line to your project.properties: manifestmerger.enabled=true I'm having trouble getting scringo working. I have no errors in the app but I run it scringo doesn't show on the emulator I followed the instructions and added this code to the BT_Activity_root.java Scringo scringo = new Scringo(this); scringo.init(); scringo.onStart(); scringo.onStop(); I couldn't find an Activity_Host file someone told me the code goes there Also when I download the app from Buzztouch to I need do add the scringo SDK? Thanks

The "project.properties file" is where the manifestmerger=true goes

also make sure the scringo.init(); is in the onCreate method in the BT_Activity_root.java also make sure scringo.onStart(); and scringo.onStop(); are in the onStop and onStart methods. I'm sure activity host isnt for anything.Ive never done anything with that. if you dont know where the methods are look at the Buzztouch u tutorials.click "(your name) Account" at the top of the page and look on the left under your picture. also look at this buzztouch scringo tutorial to know where the methods are http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiLfMEaE-1s you also have the follow the Scringo sample project. Its better to just download the scringo sdk from the scringo website. and you also have to delete the config changes part of the Scringo manifest xml

My main goal for the last few weeks was getting scringo going so you guys helping are like angels hahahah Here's what I did it shows no errors and the app runs fine in the emulator but I see no scringo Steps I have taken to try to get scringo to work for droid 1) I registered my APP 2) Downloaded the scringo SDK 3) I added the Scringo to my project 4) I added scringo to my app library 5) I copied the 3 files from the scringo libs folder to the app libs folder 6) I right clicked on each of the 3 files and did “Build Path” “add build path” 7) manifestmerger.enabled=true I added this to the project.properties document in the app. I put it last after the android.library+true 8) I added the scringos.properties folder to the App assets folder 9) I copied the scringo.app.id to the scringo.properties file 10) I added to the BT_Activity_root_tabs.java Scringo scringo = new Scringo(this); Then I clicked on the red line and selected add scringo (error disappeared) 11) Then I added right before the end curly brace (onCreate) scringo.init(); 12) Then I added scringo.onStart(); and scringo.onStop(); like the video showed When I downloaded the app from buzztouch I checked the add scringo SDK for droid There are no errors showing and the app runs fine in the emulator but no scringo showing up

on your steps 10-12, do that for every screen you want it to show up on.for example if you have a web page screen,I dont know what it would be since I dont have any in my apps,but say its bt_html.java ,then you would do your steps 10-12 on that .depending on how you got it setup you would swipe left or right on the screen to make the bar show up.so on the emulator hold and drag from the left or right of the screen, to the other side of the screen. also check out this thread, you have to edit the Scringo manifest. https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=07D9BE1911F2A87109A271E&currentPage=1

I really appreciate this! I'm trying to get scringo to work with a very simple app that has only one screen the Home Screen Menu I went through all the steps listed above and still scringo isn't showing in my emulator I see a file called BT_screen_menuListSimple.java should I be adding the code there too? Or some other java file? Thanks

Here is where I posted my code in the activity_root_tabs.java public boolean didCreate = false; Scringo scringo = new Scringo(this); ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// //activity life-cycle events. buildInterfaceThread.start(); scringo.init(); }//end onCreate //get selected tab... selectedTab = BT_strings.getPrefInteger("selectedTab"); scringo.onStart(); } //onResume //save previously selected tab... BT_strings.setPrefInteger("selectedTab", selectedTab); scringo.onStop(); } //onStop

Yes thats how mine is set up.also if you arw not using the bt core 3.0 and the older version instead you have to add the android-support-4.jar which I dont think they included in the latest sdk download.I found that out just by guessing really.they expect the devices on their sdk to be 4.0 and higher now I guess.I can upload the jar if you need it.also make sure scringo.onStart() is under onStart() ot it wont show.put the scringo object between onCreate() and. The saved instance
