Android Navigation Drawer

Has anyone figured out how to implement Navigation Drawers in android (3.0)? I'd like to get away from the whole tabs paradigm and more closely embrace Google's design philosophy. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. http://developer.android.com/design/patterns/navigation-drawer.html Thank you! -MJM

Thanks for responding. I'm not sure what you're preference is (android or ios) but if you check out the gmail app on both platforms you can see a great example of navigation drawers. Menus options are hidden off screen until you swipe open the navigation drawer. Pretty clean and efficient use of screen space. I've heard that the scringo plugin provides this type of functioning but I haven't yet successfully implemented it in android yet. It would be nice to have a plugin that's not tied to scringo that allows the same type of menu interface. Any ideas? -MJM

iOS is preference. There is a menu with image mod that does what your describing, a slide out menu right? David https://buzztouchmods.com/market

Hmm I think when you download your source code a link before the download should say "compile with the new core" or "download with new 3.0". David https://buzztouchmods.com/market

Ok so I'm looking for the slide out navigation setting in the advanced menu image plugin and I'm not seeing anything. Is it a native function of the plugin or is there some custom coding that needs to be done in xcode? Thanks for your help. -MJM
