Q for all you Android People!

Hey Android peeps! I'm finally diving head first into converting my first ever app for the Android platform. I've got my environment set up and I even got my app to run! Looks better than I thought. My question involves screen sizes - with so many different sized Android devices, what's the best practice for splash screens? How about screenshots? Speaking of screenshots, can I customize them or do they have to be unaltered? Thanks again - eager to get it out there on Google Play! P.S. Any other potential tips or tricks in getting through the process, please let me know - complete Android noobie! -Nicholas
