Nav Bar IOS7

hey guys, you may have noticed that the nsv bar colour problem on IOS 7. The work around here https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=DFA81246954F64711804A8F&command=isSearching&currentPage=1&topicTitle=ios%207&createdBy=&repliedBy=&minViews=-1&maxViews=-1&minReplies=-1&maxReplies=-1&forumCategory= doesn't solve it, meaning you can change the colour but the title color cannot be changed. It seems that the font color is always black, so if you have dark colors you won't be able to see the refresh, or back button or the title. Is there a way around this? Thanks.

This happens using the new package that BT creates. If I load an app that was compiled a few months ago, it looks ok.

I am not too worried about the color of the nav bar itself since I'm changing it to white to appear more iOS 7ish. However I would like to change the color of the of the nav bar buttons (ie back). Also, I noticed that in the apple apps the back button has a backwards chevron in addition to "back". Is there a way to add this?

Ooooops, I am worried. Several apps of mine have a black background and/or black text. Haven´t transition to iOS 7 yet. But with the huge rate of adoption of new versions of the iOS, this is going to affect all people that have used black backgrounds in the NavBar. ...help...

I was just looking into that today. I've found a number of things but nothing concrete. I've been playing around with: https://github.com/Grouper/FlatUIKit But still searching around. I haven't tried Jake's workout yet

Hi gang.. The Buzztouch v3.0 package for iOS is about a week away. It's iO7 centric. Naturally it will require you to use Xcode 5.0 to compile. This is because lots of the new method calls didn't exist previously and your "older compiler / xcode" won't know what you're code means! Ha. So, expect all these little gotcha's to clear up soon. You'll end up with a choice when downloading your project, just like Android users have. The existing package that's in use today will be available plus the "latest" option which will be the v3.0 core.

Cool. Thanks. Why should one want to download the old package once the new core is available? Since the apps that were made with BT currently on the store now, work fine, without this problem, leads me to believe that what makes this happen is Xcode, and not the BT package. Will apple allow one to submit and app from any other version, besides Xcode 5? Cheers

@MadRod: Great question. Ultimately it's up to the developer to decide what their apps should "look like" and it's hard to know if moving everyone in their install base to iOS7 is the best choice. Like so many other things, it's a tradeoff. We leave the "old project" download available because no matter how much we try to get everyone to move forward, lots of folks simply don't want to. If their app works today, why bother? LOL Apple's audience is changing fast, older iOS-ey looking apps will be all but gone eventually :-)

Will all plugins also be updated in 3.0 or is that the responsibility of the plugin creators?
