Form - Photo - Upload

I have an idea for an apple/android app which allows the user to capture information into a form and store the contents locally, then upload the form to a mobile optimised website where the user can add/modify/delete the contents later. The idea of doing it locally and then uploading is for two reasons 1) I want to be able to capture and save the information without relying on internet access. 2) multiple items might be better managed on-line rather than in the app. The pieces of functionality that I think are hard are:- 1) Local form save. 2) Adding a photo to the local form. 3) Uploading the local form to website. 4) Adding a photo to the website direct from the phone. I can do the website, but the app end is the problem - the local save, adding a photo and uploading is the bit I don't know how to do. I have tried to describe the requirement in a generic away as it sounds like it could be a plugin, but I'm not a programmer. Has anyone done this or able to develop something like this? (not for free). Thanks, Alan

I know Chris1 has a form plugin ready for the new plugin market. Maybe if you could talk him into an early sale; you could use that and GoNorthWest's 'email image' plugin for some type of hybrid. Or perhaps Chris1 could be contacted/contracted to expand on his existing accomplishment. Just a guess. Cheers! -- Smug

Yep I can do this - in fact have done similar for others. But I have about a month to month and a half backlog at the moment. Send me a pm

Yes, sorry - i added it to my list and then probably forgot to respond! Totally doable, if you can wait. Once things get closer we can talk more details. Deal?

Hi Chris. There is a risk if what you have doesn't do what I need that I won't find out for a 4-6 weeks. I need to start on the app in a week or so, if I knew I could integrate your code down the line, that would be good. Are there any examples or docs I can look at to help in the interim?

In that app, user must log in, and then can select between Gallery (saved pics on the phone) or Camera. They can also add a caption. Results get uploaded to server, and then displayed in a menu on the app for all to see. In this case, each time the user uploads a photo, it replaces the previous one for that user.
