I know I could use any size but I don't want it to look pixelated. Does anyone know if there's a way somehow to determine how big the image needs to be based on the button size and corner radius. If you want a button a fourth of the width of an iphone (in portrait) then you are looking at 80 pixel (160 px for retina). Check out this cheat sheet, it will help you. Use a pen and paper to "design" your app and take note if necessary.
