Greetings from Belgium

Hi folk, I've been an application and web developer for some 10 years, but I'm a total newbie about iPhone dev... I wanted to start with it, and was very happy to find buzztouch. I tried a few things, like using HTML5 "openDatabase" function into a HTML5 screen, and it looks very promising for creating log apps. I'll get deeper into it... Keep up doing good work ! Reboltof

Welcome! I´d recommend going directly to Buzztouch University and follow the first set of courses. You´ll be up and running in no time. Even if you have experience, follow them and you´ll see!

Hello Reboltof! Welcome! I agree with Pancho; nothing gives you a better understanding than those BT University videos. Plus it's kind of cool having stars under your name :) Mark (GoNorthWest) has produced a lot of great tutorial videos on setting up your environments as well, so when you're ready to start out, you will find it worthwhile to check out his videos on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/gonorthwest). Also, there are a bunch of great tutorials in the 'How To' section on all kinds of 'niche' subjects, so don't forget to snoop around in there too. If you have questions, the forum is the place to be! Between you and me, I wish the built in search function worked better on this site. It's hard to find good information using the 'stock' search. But a fellow BT'er (Fred@MySkylla) taught me to use google this way: In the google search bar, type "site:buzztouch.com/forum Search Terms Go Here" (without the quotes), so if I wanted information on iOS Background images, I would type "site:buzztouch.com/forum iOS Background images" and your results will be far more satisfying. And for the things you can't find, always stop by and ask :) Cheers! -- Smug Hey, 1 star already! Rock on! :)

Thank you all for the welcomes ! I'll check the references ASAP... @SmugWimp: indeed, too bad for the search function, but thanks for the Google trick ! --reboltof
