Hi @Nsaya, Couple of questions: * Have you verified the JSON of your config file at somewhere like jsonlint.org? * How big (in MB) is your config file? Mark

I have the same problem, but my Logcat is empty. I changed nothing to the configuration data. I only added a context menu to an already existing testapplication. My old apk file is working fine, but the new one gives me an error about my config data on starting the app.

Very strange. I haven't messed with the context menu yet, so I'm not sure of the effects. But I have downloaded and compiled a previous app using the new code, and all is well. There should be "something" in LogCat, as that's where all the debug data is, whether it's for a problem or just reporting that things happened correctly. Is there any output at all during the failure? Mark

Thank you GoNorthWest, No I had not verified, because before the update I used to not verify and it was working well, however, I checked and found that JASON has problem, solved the problem with JASON (actually a "," was missed) and the whole problem with source code solved. regards NSaya

Great work! That site is the first thing to hit when it appears you have a JSON problem. Glad you got it worked out! Mark

Indeed, in the BT_Menu (only context menu) there was a , missing. It returned the following: "itemId": "2D5D1E44BB42216C6A49905", "itemType": "BT_menuItem", "titleText": "Send mail" "loadScreenWithItemId": "A37B553B739D711C33EEF27" But it should be: "itemId": "2D5D1E44BB42216C6A49905", "itemType": "BT_menuItem", "titleText": "Send mail", "loadScreenWithItemId": "A37B553B739D711C33EEF27" (note the , after "Send mail") This is however the config file from BT. Where can I insert the correct configuration data ?

I just corrected the BT_config.txt file which is inside assets folder. Open it, if you could not find the place for "," just replace current content with the corrected content (copy from JSONLint and past in BT_config.txt) Cheers NSaya

Okay, I've changed the BT_config.txt and my app is starting. However my context menu still isn't visable. Also, when I change my top menu and add a home icon and link it to another screen, my app detects that there is an update, but doesn't show the icon. Another strange thing is that I have a tabbed layout and my tabs are shown on the bottom of my app. I assumed that in V3 the tabs where shown on the top of the app. Yes, I did use the buzztouch v3 core package. Any suggestions ??

I am using V3, but I figured out what's wrong. When I use a context menu the configuration data went broken (checked it with jsonlint.org). The app uses the configuration data provided by the BT control panel and when it's broken, the app receives a broken config data. I deleted the context menu in the BT control panel and now the app receives the correct update. I've made another topic about it and hopefully David and his team kan take a look into this and fix this in a update.
