Showkit

Has anyone integrated showkit? I'm still trying to understand how it works, as its seems users need to register in order to be able to use it. Any insights? Thanks. Miguel

I just started tinkering with it and this SDK and potential uses for it are pretty amazing. 30fps was pretty sweet testing on a LAN. I gotta try this on 3/4G next. Users do have to register before they can make calls. There are actually 2 ways to register users - thru the Showkit servers OR if you have Parse integrated into your app you can use their Parse module and the PFUser object to authenticate with the Parse backend. I'm exploring this area currently.

Yes, I integrated the SDK into a BT project and built a plugin to play around with it. It's pretty basic right now but it works. Adding some features as I read their DOCS to see what else I can do. I started with a blank plug-in screen and used their demo projects to get some ideas. No instructions aside from the steps to integrate the SDK. After that just a bunch of trail and error. Still a ways to go, but I'm able to make calls and test the bandwidth. The hard part is that this has to be tested on devices, the simulator doesn't do much.
