I've made plugins using both stripe and Braintree for clients. I'm thinking of releasing them on the market. What's cool about Braintree is that PayPal bought them out so you can accept PayPal and venom.also the first 50,000 usd made is free from transaction fees. Currently for the client app I made them a separate app that they can use to send the amount a certain client owes them to a database. Then their client logins the app using the credentials they registered with on the website I made. Then we they go to the pay screen it shows how much they owe, and they can use a saved card or a new card to pay. I was thinking bt members would instead want to add a list of items that the app user can add to the cart and checkout at the end. This will work for bt hosted and self hosted. What would be best for you?

Can you provide some examples of how this plugin would be used? It sounds interesting, but I'm not sure what it would do exactly. Would it allow you to make a register type app like Square? Thanks! William

Yes but it could it be way more powerful than square. You could add multiple items they could buy and they could add them to a cart. Then they buy them once they're done. I could see having one plugin for 'item' and one plugin for the cart. The item plugin is for displaying info for the what is being sold with a add to cart button. The cart plugin is for checking out and purchasing.

Awesome ideas. Cashien looks cool and be used with buzz touch easily. I've only done iOS for both stripe and Braintree so far. Will play with this too

haha yea square actually released some new apis, but not sure if they will be good enough.

They do some cool stuff, not a doubt in that. The way we shop and pay continues to evolve, Square remain agile. They lose money but have some nice moves. They say the NY subway is 5 years off accepting mobile payments as you pay and ride. London has contactless that is so well adopted. Don't get me talking about payments industry. You'll be asleep in a heartbeat.
