I'd enjoy a little advice on how to best tread these dark and murky waters.

So my android app's name is going to be F$#@ You! It's purpose is going to be to throw colorful insults at the user, one at a time, in a nice and timely fashion. Of course with ads littered about, for my own monetary greed <3.(I have no income, don't judge me. xD) I was just wondering if anyone would like to help me. I have a limited knowledge of java, for reference.

People in the forum are always here to help. Usually. A lot depends on the time of day, sometimes, but usually you'll get an answer within a day. Because you're initially targeting android, you're open to many different technologies that would be snubbed by the reviewers in the Apple App store. Java of course, being the primary language of Android Development, as well as HTML, JavaScript, and other 'web' based technologies. You know what you want to do. Now you need to 'draw it out'. Start with a piece of paper and a pencil, or take notes on the computer. you know... whatever; just take notes. Write down 'how' you want it to act. Is there a splash screen. Does it go to a menu that allows you to select the 'intensity' of the insults, or does it start insulting you immediately with random epitaphs... Things like that. Note each and every little step that you can think of, and put it into a 'flow chart' of steps. Take a look through your Buzztouch plugins, see what they do, and figure out which one(s) are candidates for being able to work with your plan. If none seem to work, you may want to go out on the net and search for HTML5 or JavaScript solutions as well; those can be 'wrapped' by a Buzztouch HTML plugin and made to look native. There's a million things you can do, and a million more ways to do them. But the first step is documenting out a plan of action, and then implementing it. And when you have questions, as burning as they can be sometimes, the forum is your friend. As well as Google, Stack Overflow, GitHub, and a host of other information sources. Let us know how we can help. We won't 'do' it for you, but we're all happy to share what knowledge we have to get you where you want to be. Cheers! -- Smug Edit: I also forgot to mention the great Buzztouch videos available. You'll want to check out the Buzztouch University courses, free videos found in your menu on BT, as well as the videos from GoNorthWest up on Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/gonorthwest). All of them are pretty helpful for someone just starting out.

Excellent writeup, Smug! Those are perfect steps for putting together your first app (or any subsequent app). This is great material for a tutorial! Mark
