I always target my apps for iOS 4.3 and newer, but that seems like a waste in light of these statistics. I can hit 98% of the iPhones and 95% of iPads if I select iOS5 instead! I do wonder about iPod Touch products, though. Some super quick research says I can get support for Gen 3 and newer using iOS5. Not bad! Mark Comments That's some darn good information...thanks! When they release something, I am almost positive I wont need to make an app that works for the new OS for at least a few years. Hoping that will change. Good article tM.
