Hi mishgolf! Buzztouch's servers are backed up at Rackspace hosting, but the best way to keep a local copy of all your app files is to self host on your own server. Self-Hosting gives you all the control and also lets you continue to keep the downloaded files backedup. The only other way I could think of to keep your app data stored is the download the JSON data for your app as a back-up incase something goes down.

If you're self hosted, at least backup your 'files' directory, along with your SQL database. If you're using BT as your server, I'd be willing to bet along with LA, that David has backups for backups. Regardless, if you're still a bit worried, then keep a copy of your projects current BT_config.txt (the Json configuration file) which is your 'app roadmap'. With the info from a config file, you can recreate any app. That's as close as you can get for now. Cheers! -- Smug
