Map location error--Data for this screen has not been downloaded

I have the location map plugin loaded in my xcode project, however, when I try to run it on the simulator, I continually receive the "Data for this screen has not been downloaded" error. What am I missing? It's a simple map location plugin.

That error is usually associated with an old config.txt. Copy the config.txt (JSON data) from your control panel, paste it in your project, clean, run. Tim

Thanks Tim. I tried that, copied in the latest config.txt file from the Buzztouch control panel, pasted into project, cleaned with no issues, ran with no issues....except that the error message remains the same "Data for this screen has not been downloaded". Any ideas?

Maybe it's not loading the default json for that plugin? Do you have at least one map location setup to display?

Yes, I have two map locations setup to display. If I click on the "show in map" feature in the control panel, both load on a map.

The version of my app that is downloaded to xcode has the map in the plugins. Do I need to copy over the plugin to xcode again?

I copied my config.txt file into the JSON validation tool for testing and it tests fine there. Does anyone else have other ideas?

Do you have a test device you can try it on rather than the simulator? What does the logcat show when it it gives the "data not downloaded" message? That should tell you where to look for what is amiss.

Thanks Wolfman. I haven't set up any other devices to test on yet other than the simulator. When I examine the output, it appears to mention in spots that the specific URL exists in the BT file manager, but then in other spots mentions that it doesn't exist. I could send you an example via private message?
