Hide Tab Bar Option?

I know I can't be the only one wanting to know where is the hide the tab bar option on the custom URL and custom HTML plugins. Those are just a few. I really hope this gets changed, it would help tab bar apps a lot. Thanks, Adam

Hi adam... Yup...saw your email too. There's a bit more to it than what it appears. The challenge (for us) is that the latest Android Project, and the coming soon iOS 7 project use: hideTabBarWhenScreenLoads the existing project, and previous projects used: hideBottomTabBarWhenScreenLoads (note the missing "bottom" in the second one). Anyway, like you realize, this means a few different things have to happen in order to get the hideTabBarWhenScreenLoads option to save to the config.txt file and actually work in the app like is should. We have figured out how to support both the old and new properties and do hope to have this option rolled into plugin pages (in the control panel) eventually. But, it's a matter of priorities and the focus has been Self Hosted and the new Android project. Now that those are going for self hosters, we'll move onto the BT control panels where it's much easier for us to add these little fixes. We'll get there. Lastly. And probably most importantly!, I can think of a few different ways to you can EASILY add this functionality to your project after it's downloaded. But...it would depend on your hacking a bit after downloading your project. It's tough to know if this is worth it or not (for you) without knowing more about your app. How many screens should hide the bar? Is it complicated, simple, tons and tons of content or lightweight? These and other questions need to be answered before knowing if apply a few tweaks to the project would help you or not. Thanks as usual...and I hope you made that shot in the pic! d.

Thanks for the response David. I will wait patiently for the tab bar option. I don't really need it now. I'm just particular when it comes to some things. I appreciate how far buzztouch has come since 2010 when I signed up as a young kid trying to make an app. Congrats to you and the team on the new updates. Thanks, Adam
