Not running in simulator

(self-hosted) I'm getting the following error from XCode in the simulator and on a real device, 6.1: BT_fileManager: File does exist in Xcode bundle: BT_config.txt 2013-08-30 12:50:43.918 derbymiddleschool[701:907] BT_fileManager: readTextFileFromBundleWithEncoding: BT_config.txt encoding: -1 2013-08-30 12:50:43.922 derbymiddleschool[701:907] derbymiddleschool_appDelegate: Using configuration data included in the project bundle. 2013-08-30 12:50:43.932 derbymiddleschool[701:907] BT_application: validateApplicationData 2013-08-30 12:50:43.943 derbymiddleschool[701:907] BT_application: The application data appears to be valid. 2013-08-30 12:50:43.944 derbymiddleschool[701:907] derbymiddleschool_appDelegate: configureEnvironmentUsingAppData 2013-08-30 12:50:43.950 derbymiddleschool[701:907] BT_application: parseJSONData: parsing application data 2013-08-30 12:50:43.964 derbymiddleschool[701:907] BT_application: parsing themes, count: 1 2013-08-30 12:50:43.970 derbymiddleschool[701:907] BT_application: parsing tabs, count: 4 2013-08-30 12:50:43.972 derbymiddleschool[701:907] BT_application: parsing screens, count: 36 2013-08-30 12:50:43.974 derbymiddleschool[701:907] BT_application: buildInterface app interface 2013-08-30 12:50:43.975 derbymiddleschool[701:907] BT_application: building a tabbed based navigation app 2013-08-30 12:50:43.983 derbymiddleschool[701:907] BT_tabBarController: view loaded 2013-08-30 12:50:44.079 derbymiddleschool[701:907] BT_application: getScreenDataByItemId 1A9832F5B3A1A0F7468582F 2013-08-30 12:50:44.080 derbymiddleschool[701:907] BT_application: screenType is BT_screen_menuListSimple for screen with nickname: "Pages" and itemId: 1A9832F5B3A1A0F7468582F 2013-08-30 12:50:44.082 derbymiddleschool[701:907] BT_viewControllerManager: initViewControllerForScreen nickname: "Pages" itemId: 1A9832F5B3A1A0F7468582F type: BT_screen_menuListSimple 2013-08-30 12:50:44.087 derbymiddleschool[701:907] BT_screen_menuListSimple: INIT 2013-08-30 12:50:44.091 derbymiddleschool[701:907] +[BT_debugger showIt::]: unrecognized selector sent to class 0x18b70c 2013-08-30 12:50:44.093 derbymiddleschool[701:907] *** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '+[BT_debugger showIt::]: unrecognized selector sent to class 0x18b70c' *** First throw call stack: (0x320f32a3 0x39f4c97f 0x320f6ca3 0x320f5531 0x3204cf68 0x14eabd 0x33f1a595 0x113d3f 0xefab5 0xef36f 0xed5db 0x33f5bad9 0x33f5b663 0x33f5384b 0x33efbc39 0x33efb6cd 0x33efb11b 0x35bef5a3 0x35bef1d3 0x320c8173 0x320c8117 0x320c6f99 0x32039ebd 0x32039d49 0x33f52485 0x33f4f301 0x1349c9 0x3a383b20) libc++abi.dylib: terminate called throwing an exception (lldb)

Hello, Have you dragged the BT_Plugins folder, and all its contents, into your Xcode project? Basically, everything you downloaded with your project files should also be in your Xcode project. Mark

I can't get "simple menu" to appear in the simulator at all. IOS project, BT v2.1.9, Xcode 5.0. I copied and pasted JSON in BT_Config.txt in Xcode, cleaned and run....I get the splash page, the main menu with buttons but when I tap a button linked to a simple menu, nothing. The background image is there, the color scheme is there but no menu heading and no buttons. I created button items too. I checked to see if I dragged BT_plugins into the project, I did. Can someone please offer a step I might have missed? Non-tabbed layout, main menu buttons selected and "saved".

Assuming that *all* folders were imported that are included in instructions.pdf, I'm not sure. When you run the app, there should be a little console in the bottom center. Could you paste the output?

Might also want to check the colors for text and separators in the simple menu. But the debug console output would be super helpful. Mark
