New Version Binary Upload

Do I need to create another certificate for distribution for a new version of my app? iTunes is ready for new binary, however, in Xcode, the "build for archive" isn't available to select. (It's light colored and unable to be selected) I have cleaned out my organizer, selected "don't code sign". I have the distribution certificate in the provisioning profile center, ready from when I originally created it for the first version of the app. I also changed the version in the build settings in Xcode...still I cannot build for archive. What step did I miss, anyone?

If you are updating an existing app in iTunes, you have to sign your app for distribution using the same Distribution Certificate that you signed the previous version with. The only thing that should change (aside from any content) is the bundle version. Everything else should be as it was last time. Mark
