Hi Gang, Most of you know @Chris1 from the forums and the Top 25 list. The dude has helped a tremendous amount of us. He's smart, helpful, enthusiastic, and has a great future as a developer. We're happy to announce that @Chris1 has joined our team and will be helping us create, roll-out, and maintain the soon-to-be-available Buzztouch Developer Portal. This portal will be a resource for devleopers to find official BT documentation, resources, plugin creation tools, etc. It will also serve as the foundation for the self-serve plugin submission / market process. Allowing you to add a plugin to the market in an automated way (so we don't have to review it) is an important goal. Congratulations Chris, you're well on your way and we're thrilled to have you.

Thanks all! I am very excited, yet also humbled and honored by this. A year ago when I found Buzztouch I never would have predicted the way things have gone. I guess that's what makes life so much fun though, huh! :) Don't worry about my involvement - this will definitely not pull me away from doing what I can to help out on the forums. It may slow down the number of custom plugins I agree to make, but I won't be bowing out of that arena altogether. So keep sending me requests for the screens you need created. If it gets to be too much, I'll let you know. In terms of this new role, there's so many directions it can take. If you have any suggestions for what you would like to see in a 'developer portal', send me an email. My first focus is getting the new Android code documented. I can't wait to unveil it to you all. Thanks again for all the support. I wouldn't be here without all of you encouraging me and asking the tough questions that push me to learn more.

Congratulations Chris! It is a bit of mixed emotions. Maybe it is only one old mans perspective but, I remember how much I learned from Sherry, Danny and Stobe's questions, answers, apps and tool releases. Then they became Admins and from a Forum stand point are now sitting on a shelf. Maybe it is natural growth. Maybe they grew and advanced so someone like you can come along and fill the void. I know it is great news for you and will be huge for the community in the future! Check in on the forum from time to time and continue to answer your private messages. The simple fact is that our community has grown to the point that most questions get answered before I even see them. And that's a good thing! But thank you for caring enough to make the statement.
