RSS feed article's background takes on background of app

I have an image as my background on my app (it's a red gradient) and on some of the articles, what would normally be a white background for the article has become the same background as my app. Does anyone know how this happens or how to fix it? Thanks, David

Is the background just set for the RSS screen or is it the same throughout the whole app? Thanks, Adam

The background is set for the entire app, but this only happens on a few RSS feed articles.

Hi David. Post one of the feed links and I can take a look at it?

Here's a feed from a website that does it. Thanks! http://www.sportsgrid.com/feed/

I experienced a similar type of problem before like that. I recommend not to set the whole app one background. I'm trying to say pick individual screens for the background you want. Not the app's theme. Thanks, Adam

Hey David. The site sportsgrid.com is built with WordPerfect. A ton of WP themes are built with transparent pages so you can do fun things with backgrounds. I am guessing this is why our background image in our app is showing through. I kind of like the idea of putting your own "trademark" or "app logo" as the background of someone else's page :-)
