iAds with 2.0

Has anyone had success putting iAd banners on BT v2.0? I wish it was as easy as a click like in v1.5. If so, is it an easy thing to do or does it require a lot of coding skills? Thanks, David

@shak77, in almost every BT plug-in there´s an option for Advertisement. It is just a click. What exactly are you referring to? Maybe I´n not getting your question. -Pancho

Hi Pancho, Didn't realize some screens had an options for advertisements. Unfortunately though, I'm trying to put iAd on a menu with buttons, which doesn't have the option (I see it has the option for ads with the "menu simple" but not menu with buttons). Do you know how I can put iAd on a menu with buttons? David

I was lucky then, because the plug-ins I used all have that option... No, unfortunately I don´t know how to add iAds manually. Sorry... -P

In the 'viewDidLoad' method, add this code... //create adView? if([[BT_strings getJsonPropertyValue:self.screenData.jsonVars nameOfProperty:@"includeAds" defaultValue:@"0"] isEqualToString:@"1"]){ [self createAdBannerView]; } In the plugins 'index.php' add this code between one of the other elements... <!-- ##################################################### --> <!-- ############### start iAd properties ################ --> <div class='cpExpandoBox colorLightBg'> <a href='#' onClick="fnExpandCollapse('box_includeAds');return false;"><img src='<?php echo APP_URL;?>/images/arr_right.gif' alt='arrow' />iAd Advertising Option (iOS only)</a> <div id="box_includeAds" style="display:none;"> <div style='padding-top:10px;'> <b>Include Advertisements on this Screen</b><br/> <select name="json_includeAds" id="json_includeAds" style='width:250px;'> <option value="0" <?php echo fnGetSelectedString("0", fnGetJsonProperyValue("includeAds", $jsonVars));?>>NO, do not include advertisements.</option> <option value="1" <?php echo fnGetSelectedString("1", fnGetJsonProperyValue("includeAds", $jsonVars));?>>YES, include advertisements.</option> </select> </div> <div style='padding-top:5px;'> <input type='button' title="save" value="save" align='absmiddle' class="buttonSubmit" onClick="saveAdvancedProperty('saveResult_includeAds');return false;"> <div id="saveResult_includeAds" class="submit_working">&nbsp;</div> </div> </div> </div> <!-- ############### end iAd properties ################## --> <!-- ##################################################### --> Hope this helps! If you're self hosted, it's in your plugin directory (files/plugins/pluginName). If you're BT Hosted you'll need to figure something out using Stobes 'snippet keeper'. Cheers! -- Smug
