Emulator problems

Hi, I tried to run the BT project but I get some errors below: [2013-08-09 16:15:15 - hierarchyviewer]Unable to get view server version from device emulator-5554 [2013-08-09 16:15:16 - ViewServerDevice]Unable to debug device: Buzztouch_V1.5 [emulator-5554] [2013-08-09 16:15:16 - hierarchyviewer]Missing forwarded port for emulator-5554 [2013-08-09 16:15:16 - hierarchyviewer]Unable to get the focused window from device emulator-5554 Can someone help me out? It seems that there is also some error with the project but I cannot find the message again. Please kindly advise. Thanks and have a nice day.

Did you try to clean your project to make sure it is bug free before you tried to run it? If that is ok, see what logcat has to say, might be an issue with your json data, if so use the json validation tool in the configuration data to see if you have any issues there.

Hi, thanks for your email. I had a few errors with the project, some of the example: IndicatorView cannot be resolved or is nor a field. ListView cannot be resolved or is nor a field. menu_list_rowsimple cannot be resolved or is nor a field. Unexpected namespace prefix "xmins" found for tag button etc etc etc

Did you select the right API? (Need Google API 8 ... Not Android API 8)

Yes, someone suggest to me that I use a higher Google API. I tried and still got errors.

Sounds possibly like an issue with your emulator. Try creating a new emulator or testing on an actual device

I cannot even run the project because there are errors in the first place.
