Original sized Flickr images with Thumb Viewer plugin

Hi guys, I'm using the Thumb Viewer plugin with Flickr and its working fine. My goal is to have the "original" sized image pulled into my app. I know the Thumb Viewer plugin is set to pull the "_b" sized image (which is 1024 on the largest side) but my images are larger than that and I need the "_o" (original images) to pull. I've changed the setting in the plugin to "_o" and it does not work. I've been trying to make sense of this page... http://www.flickr.com/services/api/misc.urls.html Does anyone know how to pull the original photos? I've added "&extras=_o" to the end of my JSON URL and that doesn't work either. I don't know how to apply "originalsecret" or "originalformat" if that is required. Any thoughts? Thanks in advanced for any assistance! God bless, Ryan

Hi Ryan, what if you contruct your url like this: http://api.flickr.com/services/rest/?method=flickr.photosets.getPhotos&api_key=7887d3308f7723375e3e288546a9239b&photoset_id=72157626897671201&extras=original_format&format=json This should work I guess. Best Regards, Danny PS this api_key and photoset_id are fake.

Hey Danny, Thanks for the response :) The URL you constructed in actually the way I have mine currently. Still no luck. It appears to be controlled by the plugin file "BTA_thumbViewer.m" which contains the code below... By default, the URL is set to end in "_b.jpg". When I change it to "_o.jpg" I get white Flickr photos saying "This image or video is currently unavailable." NSString *picURL = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"http://farm%@.staticflickr.com/%@/%@_%@_b.jpg", [tmpItem objectForKey:@"farm"], [tmpItem objectForKey:@"server"], [tmpItem objectForKey:@"id"], [tmpItem objectForKey:@"secret"]]; Any other ideas? Thanks so much for your help, Ryan

Hi Ryan, What if you make the NSString like this: NSString *picURL = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"http://farm%@.static.flickr.com/%@/%@_%@.jpg", [tmpItem objectForKey:@"farm"], [tmpItem objectForKey:@"server"], [tmpItem objectForKey:@"id"], [tmpItem objectForKey:@"secret"]]; And use the url like my earlier post. Best Regards, Danny

I'm sorry Ryan, I'm not a Flickr expert so I'm stuck here too! Good luck is the only thing I can say at this time. Best Regards, Danny
