Installing Eclipse on Window 7 home premium

For some reason when I tried to install eclipse on my pc it doesn't seem to show up in my programs. It was like it opens up from where ever I extracted the files to. Is this supposed to happen or am I doing something wrong???

I have no idea; All my dev stuff for mobile is on my Mac. But you would be well served to check out one of GoNorthWests '20 minute videos' where he explains things... One of those topics is installing eclipse on Windows 7, so it may help out. www.youtube.com/gonorthwest and snoop around a bit... Cheers! -- Smug

Hey @Creativebug, Check out the videos that Smug mentions above...I have one on installing on Windows 7. Since it's just an unzipping of an executable package, it doesn't have a formal install program, and as such, won't put an icon in the Programs list. You can put a shortcut there if you'd like. The video explains all! The latest Eclipse ADT bundle is what you need to Google for. Mark
