Hi all I need advice

Hello everyone my name is Matt. I am new not only to buzztouch but creating apps as well. I have started with my first app and want to use it for a school project I am working on. I am building a couple of automated systems using either PLC or Arduino processors. The simple app I have created so far will allow the user to use the map to place a location pin on all of the system locations. My question is how can I make it so when the user selects which system they want to see they will have options to choose from to show either driving directions to the location, the systems current valve and pressure status, or what the ouput of the unit is?

Hi Matt, I'd hate to send anyone away from BT, it's great, but if you're using Arduino, you might find processing.org more suited to your needs, it can interact specifically with arduino and other processors, as well as having specific forums. **edit here you go: http://forum.processing.org/tag/arduino

Thank you but what would you suggest about creating a menu inside the map once you click on one of the pins?

Actaully I guess the better question I should have asked is advice on how to set up the map so when you select a location pin it gives you the button menu with different options? Sorry I'll get this worded right eventually.

well that part is easy. you create the location map. then you add a locational pin and at the point you can choose what you want it to do if someone clicks on it. So you would have it to go to a simplemenu screen that you created previously. so create a menu for each pin and away you go!
