Experience with Flurry or New Relic Analytics??

Hi, I´ve been considering the use of platforms Flurry and New Relic Analytics. Does anyone has any experience with one of them or both? Thanks for your time, -Pancho

I've been using Flurry and it's easy to integrate, but there is a long delay in reports. New Relic looks very interesting - it's the first real-time reporting analytics service I've seen that isn't crazy expensive New Relic might be worth a shot

Thanks Absentia. What´s the average delay, in your opinion, in Flurry´s reports? I like New relic too! -Pancho

New Relic is kind of cool. Pricey if you want to use the advanced options. I can see how long it takes my app to query my self hosted buzztouch server for the bt_config files and quiz data files. Eg. My self hosted server had a 4 second response time to my app on 8/5 :( for one user.

@Pancho - for Flurry, it seems to usually take about a day or so

Thanks guys. @Absentia: I can live with that, no problem. @nadthevlad: I plan to use new relic as test and see, it´s ok for now.

Messing around with New Relic now - I don't really think it is comparable to Flurry. If anything, I think the ideal setup would be to use both Flurry and New Relic. From what I'm seeing, New Relic is mainly for monitoring your apps performance such as server response time, etc. In that sense it's really pretty cool - I dropped in one line of code and I'm getting detailed stats about my http requests from Buzztouch, RevMob, Scringo, and Applovin. As cool as that is, I'm not really sure what I would do with that information The main appeal of Flurry is that you can create events (something I don't think you can do with New Relic). In other words, you can keep track of what your users are doing in your app So, it seems like Flurry is good for tracking user activity and New Relic is good for tracking app performance

I completely agree. I´ve integrated both and planning to use as you mentioned. Great to have confirmation and reaffirm impressions. Thanks Absentia.
