Calander/Save text input/ Alarm

Hey everyone, I'm brand new around here. Just got the emulator working (Making an app for android first) and I wanted to start my app which I had in mind, but I'm not sure how to go about adding the features I want to have. Please bear in mind I have 0 programming experience. Basically what i want to add to my prospectus app is A Calendar, In which text can be saved locally to certain dates, and an alarm feature. If anyone can help me out with these I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for your time.

Welcome to Buzztouch! I would never 'tell you what to do', however for a beginning programmer, I would suggest creating a 'pre-app' app to learn how to use Buzztouch and Android (and/or iOS). Look at the plugins available, and see what can be created with what already exists. Creating new features is a lot of fun, but it takes patience, persistence, and some knowledge that you may not already possess just yet. Once you see how the pieces fit together, then it's a lot easier to customize things for your own designs. And stop by the forums! Cheers! -- Smug

Welcome to Buzztouch! As Smug said, play around a bit and I think you'll be surprised at what you can create without knowing any programming. When you get to the point of needing something that an existing plugin can't provide, then it's time for the real fun to begin :) Basically, when you get to that point, you have one of two options here: 1) Try to figure out how to do it yourself 2) Hire someone to do it for you You'll find people are pretty much split between the two at Buzztouch. If you think you'd enjoy learning how to code, then you can start to play around with creating a custom plugin. However, if it becomes too much for you - or you simply want to pay someone a two or three hundred bucks and be done with it, then there are several of us here that can help you out. Bottom line: There's not much you can't do with Buzztouch if you have the creative energy and dedication to make it happen. P.S. - Be sure to ask lots of questions along the way. Answering them is a pastime for many of us :)
