Binary, shminary. When all we want is an ice cream sundae with a cherry on top. Ha! :-) In this adventure, patience is the code word. I am surprised there has not been much of an uproar over this 7-day (and counting) outage. I have a feeling that the Developers and the Bloggers truly understand that this security breach could be on their shores at any moment. Thus, they are not raising a ruckus. -- Niraj

I think this is a great time to point out to them that continuing to use developers names on the site after this is a security/social engineering nightmare waiting to happen... https://developer.apple.com/contact/ Hopefully more developers have echoed the same sentiments...

Why bother putting up a status page if nothing is up? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Here is the status of Apple Developer: -We are down here -We are down there -We are down everywhere ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I wonder if they are having to rebuild the database by hand? Jake

@Jason I think they are just trying to give everyone that idea that they are "on top of it" and "working on it now" kind of feeling. Whatever happened, it was pretty big, they wouldn't be rebuilding everything and taking everything down this long if the intruders hadn't found a pretty damn big exploit. Really need to submit some apps too :( David
