Hi, Im trying to launch my app in the simulator/emulator in eclipse and I am constantly getting the above error message. I have no idea why this is happening and could really use some advise. umm, make sure your computer has drivers (on a mac they're built in) and have it plugged in when you run the App... At least, it works for me. Thanks everyone. Dusko, I did everything you suggested and the following message shows up "No active compatible AVD's or devices found. Relaunch this configuration after connecting a device or starting an AVD." I downloaded the driver for my galaxy S4, connected it to my windows 7PC etc, any ideas what is wrong? Ross M

Go to the DDMS view in Eclipse (just a left button click on an icon in the upper right corner of Eclipse) and see if the device is recognized. If you see it, then it should run on the device, otherwise, the device is not connected. Did you allow for the USB debugging on the device?
