Coincidence or just bad luck several of my accounts on social media personal gmail and my server have been compromised this week. If you have received a tweet an email or any other correspondence in the last week PLEASE IGNORE AND DO NOT HIT THE LINK!!!! MY ACCOUNT HAS BEEN COMPROMISED :( All seems to be in order now but I am telling you it has been a nightmare can't thank Susan and Danny for talking me down off the ledge this week Lesson learned moving on will always be something like this no matter where you turn unfortunately. I guess I'm still untouched. It gets the best of us. Last week my provider got hit by the 'Islamic Ghosts' and affected thousands of sites (including mine), fortunately not too maliciously, just very annoying. I was pleased to know that 'I' hadn't been hacked directly, although my sites were also affected. But it's a bit disconcerting that the folks I depend on to be smarter than me, weren't. Never happened to me before ;( . I probably too over indulgent and reactive to the whole process but all good now. Nature of the beast I guess. Still creating and still learning. Because of Buzztouch it really has jump started me unknown scary realms that I have never thought I could muster before.....to some it up....not too worried about it live and learn just want to make sure people are aware.... Glad you were not infected but none of us are immune. Glad for their straight forward response my incident may or may not be associated with the Apple Developer hack....but their little email made me aware I best be talking to my peeps in the buzztouch arena since this is my main social network too :) I am sure we are all ok in hindsight should of updated wordpress plugins themes and changed passwords more throughly....hard lesson but it will stick now -Sheri

Hi Sheri, Glad you sorted things out. I know from my own experience that this can be a real pain. I do not want to say that I'm an expert but I always warn people for fishing mails, updates of cms, password changes etc. That said: I was in the middle of helping you (Sheri) I recieved a twitter message from you. I thought you wanted to share something and I clicked to read the message. Hmmm, strange! Was I logged out from twitter? So I entered my credentials and hit login. Right after that I noticed that I was on twittler.com and not on twitter.com. I immediately went to twitter and changed my password as soon as I could. So even when you're experienced you can fall in a trap like this. So be warned........again Best Regards, Danny
