Release keystore alias

I'm using the command below to generate the MD5 fingerprint, but I cannot remember what alias name I gave to the release keystore when generating it in Eclipse. Is there some way I can find it ?? keytool -list -alias your_release_key_alias -keystore your_release.keystore -storepass your_password -keypass your_password

If you mean physically, on the Macintosh, your android keystore (both default and release) are contained within your '.android' directory, in your user directory. It starts with a dot '.' so it's typically invisible. Not entirely sure on the PC... but there is discussion on that here... http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=D3F3D09D919351C283112B3&currentPage=77 Cheers! -- Smug

The Eclipse Keytool plugin should tell you everything you need to know about your keystore. You can find a video I did on that tool here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IaXE2FUENFI Hope it helps! Mark
