Windows 8?

I know it has been asked before. But i just want to know is the Buzztouch team working on a windows phone version ? According to me its the next big thing.. Windows 8 with Nokia is gaining a lot of popularity and Nokia Lumia 520 is currently number 1 product on indian e-commerce sites like amazon.in .. Till know the windows market in not that much saturated as Android and iOS and i think if we enter know then we may achieve great downloads and popularity easily..Love the new windows 8 .. For me its kind of much more simpler and appealing compare to android.. Regards, Rishav

I don't think so. There really isn't a big enough user base yet in win 8 to support that large of a venture. The BT code probably goes above 10k lines of code that would all need to be converted to Win 8. Another problem is Microsoft's platform doesn't have a lot of the same API's that Android and iOS have. So in short, I haven't heard anything. But I'm guessing no. -tM

Yep - Windows isn't something even on the radar for Buzztouch right now. If it ever looks like it's going to be a serious competitor in the global marketplace, then maybe. But for now that's a pretty slim chance I think.

Just thought I'd share this resource. It's a video series on Windows 8 development for "absolute beginners." Not near as straightforward as using Buzztouch, but if you're interested I think its helpful: http://channel9.msdn.com/Series/Windows-Phone-8-Development-for-Absolute-Beginners
