What I'm working on (xcode)

This is a quickie demo of a couple of plugins I'm creating that work in tandem. One is a search menu, the other is a detail display page. I'm feeding it json data that works out to be a BT Menu item (for all intents and purposes) with additional fields for Lat/Lon, Image List, and other things. It displays the menu items in "distance order" meaning, it dynamically sorts the menu items based on current location vs location of the menu item location. So nearer items are at the top of the list, far away items are at the bottom of the list. And it changes, depending on *your* location. When you make a selection, it proceeds to the detail page where it has several display functions, as shown; Descriptive text, image gallery, Map. Haven't gotten the map to do directions yet, that's coming up in the near future. And the map tiles are contained in an SQLite database within the app; no network required. I need to make it prettier; I just used arbitrary colors to assist in programming which object over another. Let me know what you think. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/115208762/smugplug_01.mov It's about 11 megs. Apologies for low volume. Cheers! -- Smug

Wow that is insane, I need that plugin yesterday!! Would work well in my restaurant app I am working on :) It is just fantastic that you can use the map offline, I am very impressed and looking forward to seeing the finished product on the market. IOS only I am guessing? Farcat

iOS 'so far'. I do have to do something about an android companion, but I'm not looking forward to it, lol! The search won't be too hard, but the detail view might be a challenge. I'm hoping the 'fragmented' method with Android will serve better for integrating several different code snips in one plugin. The collapsible UIView is an "accordion view" by Wojtek Siudzinski and was up on github; maybe you can find it with a search but right now github isn't being nice to my connection. I was pleased to find out how easy it was to embed other views into the accordion; makes for a very nice display :) Cheers! -- Smug
