Stuck on seemingly easy things...

I've perused the forums a lot, and as I'm working on an app I get pretty frustrated with what seem like should be easy things! Anyone else have this issue? while the BT community is so great at helping, I always feel like I'm annoying the experts with silly problems!! At any rate, I have an "intro" screen that is a menu simple, and I've tried to add a background image (with a short intro on it) and one menu row to go to the main menu button screen. This intro screen is black. I can't even see the nav bar title on the nav bar now. I've brought the background image into Xcode/BT Images, wondering what I'm doing wrong... Also on the menu button screen (which I can't see now), I did put a background image which worked well, but I don't see it in Xcode- where is this located? Why is it not listed in BT Images? Is it just an itemID number? Trying to understand Xcode as well- I'm a quick enough learner, but brand new to this. Thanks for any help!

Yes, I did that at first... When I created the new "intro" screen later, do I need to add anything to Xcode? Or download it all again from BT and then pull everything into Xcode again? I thought it automatically refreshed in Xcode. I did clean and build again...

you need to copy the JSON from the control panel t you BT_config.txt file in the BT_config folder. Have you tried hitting the refresh button on the top left of your home screen?

Thanks Bonzo, I'll work on it. The refresh button on the home screen of the simulator isn't showing- somehow I've blacked everything out on that screen. I'll let you know what I get when I copy the JSON as you mentioned.

Okay I decided to just close that version in xcode and download the app again with the changes I've made, and still no luck. Could it be that the theme (which I chose at one point but really no longer want, but don't see a way to make it inactive) is overriding the intro screen for some reason? When I look at the config data, the intro screen info is there, but so is the theme info...

Got it!! I remember the theme is always there, but I had forgotten to bring the BT plugins over this time around. It's working now! Thanks

We're all learning, at least most of us, so just feel free to ask anything. Good to see you got it working. Cheers Miguel
