How to create a dictionary-like reference app

Hi, I'm new to buzz touch and I don't know coding. What is the best way to make a dictionary app where users can see the word list and click on a word for the definition?

most of the people who join buzztouch are not into coding. how many categories/words would be there? is search option necessary? there are few ways you can do this this is what clicked me: all the meanings would be on one webpage and clicking on the word will redirect you to correct location of the word and meaning on that webpage. or the meanings would already be avilable over the internet you just link the menu button to the page url of the meaning of the word

Hi Akshay, Search option is necessary but I thought I could use the search plugin for that. No categories but over 1000 words (it is an accounting term dictionary). Criticalsags

I want it all offline in the app so it can be used anywhere to study.

It will take a lot of typing; but a basic 'list' menu for the terms, and an HTML page for the definitions. I think that is what Suvinay is saying as well. Cheers! -- Smug

Don't worry about it; my mind is two miles further by the time my fingers hit the keys as well. :) Cheers! -- Smug

Thanks, that's helpful. There are about 1000 words so ill use this as a backup idea. Any body else have any thoughts?

I'd look into scripting for whichever platform you're on... Creative scripting can automate a lot of your repetitive tasks... Cheers! -- Smug

Think about using the Web Control Panel vs using a simple JSON Data File to hold those terms and definitions. For 1000 items, manipulating a text file is sometimes much faster, yet also prone to human errors. -- Niraj
