rssponsive design

Does anyone know of a good site to build responsive design pages that we can add to our apps? Would be ace if such a service was added to buzztouch sometime in the future :-)

Check out themeforest. I think it's probably the best source out there. Search for responsive one page template. I've created some such as http://goo.gl/XJKeM . If you'd like I can do it for you if you've got your resources ready. Reply here or at: w e b n e v e e s @gmail.com (without the spaces) so we can talk about it.

Don't forget that if you know a bit of html you can use an html page in combination with CSS and css media queries to detect screen size. This will allow you to keep your content within the app so that an internet connection isn't required to see your content.

Nice site @WebNevees! I don't speak Arabic, but I love the layout and graphics.

Thanks. I was just looking for an alternative to the HTML screen so I can create app screens that auto fit any device without having to worry about layouts and screen sizes etc. Hope that makes sense

Beautiful @WebNevees! What did you use to build that? RapidWeaver with Stacks maybe? Damn. Now I know I have to update my site! Tim

Thanks Chris, Mr Stuck, WolfTimJ Thank you for the complements. I haven't used Rapidweaver or stacks. I'm a hard coder in html5, javascript, css3, and some php. That means I basically use notepad and code by hand in a text environment. But the key is to look around for nice templates, snippets, or layouts that you like, then modify them so they fit your purpose and combine them into one central project. You can also use core "platforms" like the twitter bootstrap, or JQuery Mobile, or the likes to produce quick results. This promo page was done based on a commercial template bought for the client (you can buy them at good prices) so it's not all my work. But adapting the layout and customizing it with my clients content and requirements, then adding some more functionality and stuff like that is what has been needed there. Be sure to check out its responsive layout. You can use it on mobile or just drag the browser on your desktop to resize it and see that it will magically rearrange itself to fit the browser screen best as it can. This is the tricky part. And this type of reponsive layout is what will work for you Mr Stuck as it will automatically adjust itself on every device out there. You can use tis type of layout in your HTML docs Screen plugin or custom url screen plugin in Buzztouch. Good thing is there is no php involved so it'll just be a great fit. And Chris: Nice try but it's actually Persian (or Farsi) which is the language of Iranians, and not Arabic. Although they are deeply rooted in one another.
