The Audio streamer Plugin does not play the music, when tested on the simulator and on the device. Is there any other settings i need to look into, to make it work. Help please

I know this sounds like it can't possibly be the problem. Is the computer volume muted? Is the phone muted? Is the phone's volume down? You would be surprised how many customers ask why there is no audio and it is this simple fix. If it is not this, I would check the URL to the mp3 file, as the file may be invalid or corrupt. Jake

Hi, It should work right out of the box. Jake's suggestion could be the answer to you problem (thanks Jake). But without more details of your settings it's impossible to give a definitive solution. It also only works with remote files. So don't include the audio files in your xcode project. In the controlpanel there is also a url for testing. It's a radiostation. With this url ( copy it exactly and paste it in the url input box) you can test if everything is working right. If you hear no sound you should at least see the graphical equalizer working. the volume is up all the way. tested it on xcode simulator did not work, i tested it on two of my phones, none worked. and there is no chance the my computer, and two phone all are muted(that should not have been asked ) If works with the test station, but not with the audio file i have on my server. Why is that ?

Hi, If the test radiostation is working then it means that there is nothing wrong with the plugin. So there must be a problem with the file you are trying to play. Can you share the url you are trying use? Best regards, Danny

hey techtagondigital, make sure that buzztouchmod supports progressive streaming and rtsp for strteaming from their server. some hosting plans dont allow it.

try renaming the file to AFROMIXVOLBYDJAFOO.mp3. No spaces, spaces = that 20% and that sometimes doesent translate to a space when streaming. Instead use underscores like this. AFROMIX_VOL_BY_DJAFOO.mp3. I tried you url and it did not work. I'm pretty sure thats the issue.
