Interesting concept - let us know how it works out. $25/mo * 12 months = $300. Definitely cheaper than buying a new MacBook. (Although in 2 years time, you probably could have paid for a mac mini). The Apple Developer account is $99/year. How hard is iOS programming? No harder than Android. The challenge is that it's a different language. Buzztouch makes things easy, of course. But if you're trying to do actual coding, you'll be scratching your head for a while. Once you figure it out, though, you'll find the two languages actually have a lot in common. Probably the biggest difference is Android uses layouts and iOS uses frames. Get that figured out in your head and the rest will come easy.

got a feeling the upload speed is more important so should be okay, post a video screen shot when you get it loaded be good to see how it performs

Getting new fibre to door next month. I'm right next to a box as well. Starting off with 18mbps, excited to see how it works.

With all this bantering about Internet connection speeds ... I just suggested to replace a 56K modem with an iPhone last week! Just as you might be, I was astonished to find it there as an "emergency backup if the network goes down". I then asked, "Which of these folks here know how to switch the WinPC over to a modem?" The answer came through in the form of a dumbfounded blank stare. As the Lone Ranger would've, I whipped out the iPhone as the cure-all for their ills. :-) ( don't scratch yer noggin too hard on a few of the un-said details that truly makes the iPhone a viable substitute -- it's for a unique situation :) and that's the well-rounded truth! -- Niraj
