Self hosted push notification dilemma

I recently added a self hosted server and moved one of my existing apps to it without considering being aware that I need VPS or a dedicated server hosting. I considered Liquid Web, but they are far too expensive (I do these apps for my classroom, my wife's classroom, and my school) so I chose to go with MacHighway. They have great support and documentation, but they cannot open ports 2195 and 2196 so I cannot send push notifications. The devices registered, but I could not send a push because of the port issue. So then I put in Appoxee push notification (I used them before push was an option with BT)and this would (I think) take care of the port problem by having an outside company send my pushes, but the devices do not register with my control panel. Is there a way to register the devices for push at a different URL other than my self-hosted server?

integrate parse, just done a bit of work for another member, its free upto 1000000 pushes a month, plus you can set these cool things called channels so you could push different messages to different users

Parse's methods seem much more direct with less code. I will give it a shot. Thanks.

I just noticed in the YouTube tutorial that he implemented the method didFailToRegisterForRemoteNotificationsWithError:, but it is not in the implementation on their website now https://parse.com/tutorials/ios-push-notifications. Any ideas?

Hi Kittsy I am looking to offer my clients a backend where they can login and send the push notifications by themselves. I think with current BT self hosted server this is not possible. Will Parse provide this solutions, please help me in this matter :-)
