Font size problems

I am using Custom HTML/Text screens. When I change the font in Buzztouch it does not change on the App on the iphone or the simulator. What am I doing wrong?

Well, if your app is calling a 'non standard' font, that would be one thing. More than likely, you may just need to refresh the data in your device or simulator. Keep in mind those changes apply to 'system' resources, such as menus and such. If you're talking about the fonts on the HTML page itself, you'll need to edit the HTML content for that. Hi, I too am having problems with font in all my HTML pages, and hoping someone can help. I am not using a 'non standard' font. All I what is to increase the size of the font. It is now at 28, but looks the same even when I increase it higher (edit the HTML content itself). I have refreshed data in the device and simulator. I also have to space the top of the doc further down the screen or it will only show the middle to bottom half. That's ok, if a hassle. See below for an JSON example after I saved the HTML doc. {"itemId":"276E533B2C59EB2EA08BD7E", "itemType":"BT_screen_customHTML", "itemNickname":"Gamespot", "navBarTitleText":"Gamespot", "dataURL":"https://www.buzztouch.com/applications032613/JA5033360DDDAA0E85DC89B88/documents/customHTML_276E533B2C59EB2EA08BD7E.html", "showBrowserBarBack":"1", "showBrowserBarRefresh":"0", "showBrowserBarLaunchInNativeApp":"0", "showBrowserBarEmailDocument":"1", "forceRefresh":"0", "dataDetectorType":"1", "preventAllScrolling":"0", "hideVerticalScrollBar":"0", "hideHorizontalScrollBar":"1", "preventScrollBounce":"0", "preventUserInteraction":"0", "backgroundColor":"#FFFFFF", "backgroundImageScale":"fullScreen"} Thanks so much, Jen

Keep in mind the BT project is only going to 'display' HTML, it does not 'control' HTML. Any changes with respect to the visual appearance of an HTML page comes from within the HTML code you're writing. If you're having issues with one device over another, you'll need to implement a solution such as CSS to test for and mediate different screen sizes and resolutions. In any event, the best method I've found for controlling my HTML appearance and uniformity throughout my apps is to use CSS. If you're not familiar, or need to get familiar with CSS for mobile, you might glance at a couple of these: http://perishablepress.com/the-5-minute-css-mobile-makeover/ http://css-tricks.com/snippets/css/media-queries-for-standard-devices/ http://css-tricks.com/snippets/ Hope this helps! Thanks Smug. I very much appreciate your support and diligence in responding. I tried a few things, but found the best result from another forum and a guy named Fred. For those in the same situation, this was it: <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1"> Thanks again, Jen

Yep. And there's a bunch more. "There's more than one way to skin a cat" as they say... Fred is a pretty good resource; if you haven't checked out his site, it's http://myskylla.com and is chock full of good info. Cheers! -- Smug
