Guide to Privacy Best Practices for Mobile App Developers

Below is a quote from this guide: "The guidelines set forth in this document are intended to serve as a road map for you, the mobile app developer, to build privacy into your apps, better inform and empower end-users, and foster trust and confidence in the mobile app ecosystem." Looks like a cool guide, and thought I'd share: https://www.cdt.org/files/pdfs/Best-Practices-Mobile-App-Developers.pdf

Now if only Apple would apply some privacy for the actual developers. I think it's pretty lame they use your name on the app store and don't let you use a company name or an alias - unless you use a business developer account - which requires too much legal paperwork and $$$ for the standard indie starving developer. This is one area Google Play Market gets it right over Apple.

@ATRAIN53. Totally agree there. Wish we could use a name other than our legal name for the app...Apple already knows who you are from the backend :-) But, I guess it does give them less work to do, e.g. they don't need to police weird names some people may use :-) LOL
