Greetings all

I have just joined recently and am working my way through the BTU videos. Quick question - how do I know which version of BT I am using ??

We all pretty much run the same version. "v2.1.8+" (in a global sense, we're running 'BT v2.0') The version in the "BT Hosted" control panel is a bit more advanced, because that is the one David releases all the new stuff first. Currently 'self hosted' is also on version 2.1.8 which may change with the next update. Welcome! let us know if you run into any bumps! Cheers! -- Smug

Welcome to Buzztouch! Don't forget you can learn a ton by just jumping in and creating a test app! The videos are awesome, but they also go into depth on coding stuff, which Buzztouch does a great job of taking care of for you! So, create something in your control panel and get it running on a simulator...you'll learn a huge amount! Don't hesitate to let us know if you have any questions! Mark

Tks for answer folks. So .. I took your advice GNW and created a simple app in BT, downloaded the Android package, but when I tried to 'import package' I got some Google API version conflicts. Tried to resolve them but now cannot import the package as it is saying something like 'it already exists' ...

First start by right-clicking the package, select Delete, and then OK. This will not delete the files, but just remove it from Eclipse. Then either follow this video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NV3Ofi2602I&feature=share&list=UUbL5gei-5kK8hHf5q3andnw Or check out this guide: https://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/buzztouch_For_Android-A_Users_Guide.pdf They both show you how to do Android from start to finish.
